Your cooling system has three basic elements: source of cold air (air conditioning unit), means of distributing the air (air ducts, and chances are your heat comes from the same place), and the regulation
device (thermostat). When something is not right with your cooling system, one or more of those components are to blame. Heat always moves from a warm object to cooler object. Air conditioners release cool air throughout the home to cool it down. Effectively this happens by removing the warm air from the home. When you turn on your air conditioner, the power is used to cool a gas in a coil, turning it to it’s liquid state. Warm air in your home is cooled by contact with the cooling coil.
